Tour-01: Colombo, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya
Day 1
Leaving for Kandy in the morning. Visit Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawala and a tea factory en-route. Visit the scared tooth relic of Buddha (Dalada Maligawa). Shopping for handicraft, gems and jewellery. Some interesting old temples are also close by. See the performance of Kandian dancers in the night. Overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 2
In the morning, proceed to Nuwara Eliya through Ramboda passing beautiful scenery at 6187 ft. Above sea level, tea carpeted hills, Ramboda water falls (329 ft.) Haggala Botanical Gardens. Back to Colombo through Ginigathhena. May stop for lunch at Kithulgala where the famous film Bridge on the River Kwai was filmed.
